Delaware Farm Bureau Ambassador Program

The Delaware Farm Bureau (DEFB) is now accepting applications for the Delaware Farm Bureau Ambassador Program. This program seeks a passionate young adult with a strong interest in agriculture, whose family are active members of the Delaware Farm Bureau. The selected ambassador will represent the Delaware Farm Bureau at various events throughout the year.

To be eligible, the applicant must:

  • Be a DEFB member or the child or grandchild of an active DEFB member.
  • Be a 17- to 21-year-old as of January 1st, 2025
  • Must be within a 70-mile radius of the Delaware Farm Bureau State Office.

RULES & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicants must be prepared to attend the DEFB Annual Banquet on December 13th, 2025.
  • Applicants must submit a headshot (head and shoulders) of themselves.
  • All applications must be submitted to alexis.langenfelder@defb.org or postmarked  on Monday, September 1st.
  • If selected as a Finalist, you must interview and give a 3-minute speech at the Delaware Farm Bureau Annual Banquet.

AWARD:

  • $5,000 scholarship upon the completion of all requirements and a full year of service
  • DEFB apparel to wear at events
