Part 1. Look and Learn
Show your child sunflower seeds.

Part 2. Meet the Sunflower
Explain:
· Sunflowers follow the sun across the sky.
· Their seeds can be eaten or pressed into oil.
Activity:
Draw a tall sunflower with seeds in the middle.
Part 3. Seed Snack
Eat a few roasted sunflower seeds and talk about how they came from the middle of the flower.
