Ingredients
For crust:
- 16.5 oz refrigerated sugar cookie dough make your own from scratch if preferred
For frosting:
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the fruit topping: any fruit can be used
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup strawberries sliced
- 1 cup bananas sliced
Instructions
Make the cookie base:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Press sugar cookie dough into a 9×13 inch baking pan or on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper, forming a rectangle.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and let completely cool before decorating.
Prepare the frosting:
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla, and beat until fluffy.
- Spread evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
Decorate the pizza:
- Arrange your sliced fruit in your preferred design. The ingredients given above are perfect for an American flag design.
