Delaware Farm Bureau (DEFB) is pleased to announce the hiring of Ashley Holmes as Digital Media Assistant. In this role, Holmes will help promote the organization’s initiatives, events, and Delaware agriculture through engaging digital content and communications.
Holmes brings an extensive background in agriculture and marketing and a passion for sharing the stories of Delaware farmers. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications, she worked in agricultural education and in agricultural communications for the Delaware Department of Agriculture. Holmes now manages her family farm, Alley Mill Farm, in Clayton, DE.
In this position, Holmes aims to support DEFB’s mission to promote and protect Delaware agriculture through education and advocacy to ensure a quality of life for farmers and their families and their consumers. Through strong digital campaigns, website maintenance, and social media content development, Holmes will enhance DEFB’s online visibility and digital presence.
