Beef and Beer Fundraiser
The New Castle County Farm Bureau is hosting a Beef and Beer Fundraiser on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Coleman’s Christmas Tree Farm in Middletown, DE.
This fundraiser benefits the New Castle County Farm Bureau, which is actively involved in community engagement, youth programs, and agricultural advocacy throughout the year. We support our youth through scholarships, farmer visits, and sponsorships in programs such as 4H, FFA, Young Farmers and Ranchers, and schools. One of our favorite activities is reading to kids at local schools, as engaging with youth is crucial—they are the next generation of producers and consumers.
Tickets to the Beef and Beer Fundraiser are $45 for those 21 and over and $25 for those under 21. A ticket grants entry to the fundraiser, access to our food buffet, and any non-alcoholic drinks. If you purchase the 21 and over ticket and show proof of age at the entrance, you will receive an alcohol band for unlimited pours of our local beers and wine. We will also have live and raffle auctions with some fantastic items.
We are excited to offer delicious food and great drinks! Enjoy beef, pulled chicken, beans, pasta salad, and more provided by Haass’ Family Butcher Shop, rolls from Fortunata’s Bakery, beer and wine from Iron Hill Brewery and Two Stones, sweet corn from Filasky’s, watermelon from Calloway Farms, and ice cream from Woodside Creamery.
