The Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee of the Delaware Farm Bureau is excited to announce its 31st Annual Antique Tractor Pull to be held Saturday, July 26th at the Delaware State Fair.

Tractor enthusiasts from several states gather at the Quillen Arena in Harrington to connect, compete, and celebrate their love of antique tractors.

“The pull is one of our most anticipated events. Whether you’re a competitor or a spectator, it’s always an enjoyable and memorable experience,” DEFB’s State YF&R Coordinator Sydnie Grossnickle said.

Event registration and check-in begin at 7:00 a.m., with a drivers’ meeting at 8:30 a.m. and the first hook at 9:00 a.m. Pre-registration is encouraged and available at www.defb.org/yfr/antique-tractor-pull/.

The entry fee is $20 per hook for all classes. Event T-shirts will be available on-site for $25 each, or $15 for youth sizes.

The Antique Tractor Pull also serves as a key fundraiser supporting YF&R activities, including participation in national Young Farmers and American Farm Bureau Federation conventions. Proceeds also help provide scholarships for Delaware youth pursuing agricultural studies. Last year, the committee awarded $2,000 in scholarships. They also sponsored members to attend the national FUSION Conference in Colorado, offering valuable opportunities for networking and professional development.

“Young Farmers & Ranchers is about building the future of agriculture, but also about building strong, connected communities. Our members, ages 18 to 40, are passionate about farming and committed to making a positive impact both in the field and in the community,” said DE YF&R State Chair Will Powers.
