The Delaware Farm Bureau (DEFB) Promotion & Engagement Committee (P&E) hosted a legislative luncheon on National Ag Day, March 24, 2026, to celebrate agriculture and thank legislators for their continued support of Delaware agriculture.
Legislators and legislative staff were invited to enjoy lunch served by P&E members. Several 4-H and FFA students also attended, representing the next generation of Delaware’s agricultural community. The luncheon provided DEFB members with the opportunity to speak directly with their elected officials about key agricultural priorities and issues impacting farmers across the state.
This event is part of DEFB’s ongoing efforts to maintain strong relationships with Delaware legislators, share the stories of Delaware farmers, and provide valuable education about the state’s diverse agricultural industry. DEFB is grateful for the support it receives from legislators and is proud of the productive partnerships built over the years.
