Impromptu Speaking Workshop
Learn how to effectively advocate for agriculture by strengthening your public speaking skills with the DEFB Promotion & Education (P&E) Committee.
The P&E Committee has organized a free, one-hour virtual workshop to take place Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. The “Impromptu Speaking” workshop is open to all Delaware Farm Bureau members.
Elise Cruse, American Farm Bureau Federation Managing Director of Leadership Development will present a wealth of knowledge and experience in agricultural advocacy through impromptu public speaking during this event as the expert speaker.
Her insights have helped Farm Bureau members across the country amplify their voices, drive engagement, and affect meaningful change within the agriculture industry.
Being in a leadership role means we can be called upon at any time to speak, whether to give a report about a recent event we attended or to give our opinion on the topic at hand.
Step up to the challenge with this session that will guide learners through assessing the room, developing the message they need to share, and determining what content the audience needs when given a short amount of time to collect your thoughts.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from an expert in the field.
