The Public Relations Coordinator will help advance the mission of the organization by offering dynamic communication skills to the agricultural community. Eligible candidates will be responsible for shaping and maintaining the organization’s public image through developing and implementing strategic communication plans, managing media relations, and building positive relationships with stakeholders. Candidates should be proficient in Adobe products including InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite. The PR Coordinator will also serve as the statewide coordinator for DEFB’s Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee.
The Program Coordinator. The candidate chosen for this role will support the planning and coordination of activities run by the Delaware Farm Bureau and its Foundation like the annual FFA Blue Jacket Bonanza and DEFB Vanity Tags. Budgeting, grant writing, fundraising campaigns are all essential parts of this position. This role also manages the Foundation’s Mobile Ag Lab and attends all Foundation Board of Director meetings throughout the year.
