Delaware Farm Bureau was invited to lead a tri-district Advocacy Workshop with Lake Forest FFA, Milford FFA, and Woodbridge FFA on May 20, 2026, at the Delaware State Fairgrounds.
FFA members attended the workshop to build advocacy skills ahead of their visit to Legislative Hall. The workshop focused on why advocacy matters, how to identify legislative districts, and how to effectively share personal stories. Students also practiced introductions, discussed how to share their experience in agriculture, and developed questions to ask elected officials.
Following the workshop, FFA members traveled to Legislative Hall in Dover, where they met with several legislators and Delaware Governor Matt Meyer.
