Delaware Farm Bureau (DEFB) has hired Noah Dixon of Felton as the Ag Literacy Coordinator.
In this role, Dixon will support DEFB’s mission to promote and protect Delaware agriculture through education and advocacy to ensure a quality of life for farmers and their families and their consumers. The Ag Literacy Coordinator works to build understanding of where food and fiber come from by developing educational materials, coordinating classroom and community outreach, and strengthening connections between farmers and schools across the state.
“I am excited for the chance to educate Delaware’s youth about the significance of agriculture as an industry and in their lives,” said Dixon. “Young people are our future, and when we feed into them, the future is a stronger and brighter place.”
Dixon previously served as a DEFB intern, where he gained hands-on experience with Farm Bureau programs and agricultural education. He has also been actively involved with the National FFA Organization, serving two years as a Delaware State FFA Officer and continuing to volunteer with the state organization. In addition, Dixon was a marketing intern with the Delaware Department of Agriculture.
He will graduate from Delaware State University in May 2026 with a degree in general agriculture and has been active in Collegiate FFA and the development of the DSU Collegiate Farm Bureau.
