Delaware Farm Bureau (DEFB) is excited to be present at the Delaware State Fair. Members can be found across the fairgrounds from the barns and commodity buildings to the food court.

The DEFB Women’s Committee manages the DEFB Food Booth, located beside the grandstands. The booth offers affordable meals for families while raising funds to support scholarships and community initiatives.

The DEFB Foundation will be present in the Hertrich Plaza on Kid’s Day, Tuesday, July 28, 2026. The Foundation will be manning a table full of educational materials, crafts, and activities meant to educate youth on agriculture.

The DEFB Promotion and Engagement (P&E) Committee will have an educational booth in the Delaware Department of Agriculture Commodities Building for all 10 days of the Fair. Visitors can stop by to enjoy an interactive game featuring agricultural trivia and learn more about local farming.

New this year are limited-edition American flag themed DEFB socks! The first 50 visitors every day of the fair who show P&E members a same-day receipt of $10 or more from the DEFB Food Booth will receive a pair.

Throughout the week, DEFB members will host “Ask a Farmer” sessions across the fairgrounds, giving fairgoers the opportunity to connect directly with farmers and ask questions about agriculture. This ongoing P&E initiative helps bridge the gap between producers and consumers.

The DEFB Young Farmers and Ranchers are hosting their 32nd Annual Antique Tractor Pull at 9am in the Quillen Arena on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The pull brings together antique tractor enthusiasts from the region for a fun-filled event for the whole family.
